The short version: this is an information and quote-matching service, not a pest control company. Our content is guidance rather than professional advice, and any work you have done is under an agreement between you and the provider you choose.

The nature of this service
River Valley Pest Guide is an independent information and quote-matching service. We do not perform pest control treatments, inspections or repairs, and we are not a pest control company. No single provider owns or directs our recommendations.
When you submit a quote request, we match it with third-party pest control providers who serve your area. Any work you subsequently have performed is under a separate agreement between you and that provider. We are not a party to it.
Content is informational, not professional advice
The articles, guides, price ranges and seasonal information on this site are editorial content provided for general information. They are not a substitute for an on-site assessment by a licensed pest control professional, a structural engineer, a medical professional or any other qualified person.
Pest pressure, treatment options and pricing vary by property. Where our content gives price ranges, they are editorial estimates for the Fort Smith market and are not quotations or offers of service.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee the outcome of any pest control service, the accuracy of any quote, or the availability of any provider. Providers are independent businesses and their work is their own.
We vet providers as described on our About page, but vetting is not an endorsement and it is not a warranty. You are responsible for evaluating any provider before hiring them, and for getting terms in writing.
Quotes and provider contact
Submitting a quote request is free and does not obligate you to hire anyone. It does authorise us to share the information you entered with matched providers so they can contact you using your stated preferred method.
Quotes are provided by providers, not by us. We do not set their prices, their scope or their warranty terms.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep this site accurate and current and we correct errors when they are reported or discovered. However, we make no warranty that content is complete, current or free of error. Pest behaviour, regulations, product availability and pricing all change over time.
If you find something inaccurate, tell us — corrections are genuinely welcome.
Intellectual property
The written content, design, illustrations and original graphics on this site are owned by River Valley Pest Guide. You may link to any page on this site freely. You may not reproduce substantial portions of it without written permission.
Short quotations with attribution are fine — that is how information spreads.
Third-party providers and links
This site links to and refers to third-party businesses and websites. We are not responsible for their content, their practices or their services. A link or a referral is not an endorsement of everything a provider does.
Your dealings with any provider are solely between you and them.
