Information we collect
When you submit a quote request, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, city, ZIP code, the type of pest you are dealing with, the type of property, how urgent the problem is and any additional detail you choose to provide.
We also collect standard technical information automatically — your IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you view on this site. This is ordinary web server logging and it is used to keep the site running and to understand which pages are useful.
How we use it
The information you submit is used for one purpose: to match your request with licensed pest control providers who serve your area and to let them contact you using the method you chose.
Aggregate, non-identifying information about how the site is used helps us decide what to write next and which pages need improving.
What happens to your details
Your request is passed to licensed pest control providers who serve your area, so that they can contact you about it.
What we do not do: add you to a mailing list you did not join, pass your details to data brokers or marketing networks, or keep sending you anything once the request has been worked.
Who receives your request
Each provider is told the details you entered and nothing else about you. They receive them because you asked to be contacted about your pest problem.
Ask any provider who contacts you where they got the request. If one misuses your details, tell us and we will stop sending to them.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are retained for as long as is necessary to complete the matching and for a reasonable period afterwards should you have follow-up questions. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email quotes@rivervalleypestguide.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
You are never obliged to provide information to this site, and you are never obliged to hire anyone as a result of using it.
Children
This site is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the date shown below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
